Chattanooga Commons
"Have a penny? Leave a penny. Need a penny? Take a penny."
Remember that simple gas station concept? Give if you have excess; take if you come up short. Well, that's sort of what Chattanooga Commons is like. We're taking the New Testament church concept of holding all things "in common" and placing it into a 21st century, American context.*
Our email database is a need-meeting system. You can submit needs through email (chattcommons@nrvchurch.com), via our Contact Page, or by dropping a card into the box at church.** We'll send out a mass email—anonymous whenever possible***--with the need, expecting God's people to respond. When you get an email from the Commons, read it prayerfully, asking God if this is a need He would have you meet. If you can meet a need, simply respond to the email; we'll make sure the details are handled in the best way possible.
