Put yourself in the shoes (or sandals) of the disgruntled workers…worked all day but received the same pay as someone who worked for only an hour. How would you feel?

Imagine that you are one of the law abiding Jews in the crowd and you witnessed Jesus accepting Zacchaeus…how would you feel? (Remember Zacchaeus was recognized as a scoundrel because he was a tax-collector. He took advantage of his own people. He was hated…I mean really hated.)
Put yourself in Zacchaeus’ shoes.
What was life like before him before his encounter with Jesus?
What do you think Zacchaeus thought when Jesus called him down out of the tree?
Why did Zacchaeus respond to Jesus in the way that he did?
