Our first encounter with God in the Bible shows Him involved in the creative process of forming the earth and all things in it. Then God created man in His own image. When we create, whether through visual arts, performance arts, language arts or culinary arts, we approach the likeness of God.

Just as God is Creator, art is who we are.

Someone once said, "What if God could not or would not do anything unless His people pray?" Through prayer, God reveals His heart and direction. He gets us in touch with the rhythm of His Spirit.

We want to be more than a community that prays; we want to be a community saturated in prayer. We aren't looking for experts, but for those who are hungry to see more of the Kingdom in every facet of life. We are learning more about what it means to hear Gods voice and discern what He is up to.

Our belief is that God intends Christianity to be a way of life. We accept His challenge to live in the world without becoming a product of it. The church is never meant to be the withdrawn or isolated end-user of the Gospel of Jesus; rather, we receive His Gospel so that we may be equipped to go into the world to love our neighbors and serve "the least of these." As the Body of Christ we desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus so that our world will look more like He intended.

God empowers his people through the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. We want to grow in our understanding and experience of God's powerful presence; however, we try not to rely on a specific model or expression. We celebrate the work of the Spirit through different gifts and roles he has given to the Church. We aren't about hype or sensationalism; instead, we promote being "naturally supernatural," doing our best to be sensitive to the Spirit.

The Christian faith is a call away from individualism and into community. We want to establish a church family that is on a journey of faith together. We want to live bound together by our commitment to seeking God and our dedication to one another.
